Chicago Bulls

Is it time for a second rebuild?

The bulls had the 26th worst defensive rating in the 2023-2024 season. Offense was mediocre but that's not what led them to a 39-43 record last season. On offense they have a bunch of fire power with an assist machine in Josh Giddey who was acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder over the summer in exchange for a hustler and defensive menace in Alex Caruso. Coby White who came off an extraordinary season with the Bulls averaging almost 10 more points than he did in his previous year. A well rounded scorer in Zach Lavine who can put on a shooting clinic when he gets hot. A double-double machine in Nikola Vucevic are all components to a decent scoring unit. The main question for the bulls is will Lonzo Ball be his old self when he returns or will he be a battered version. An interesting addition to the bulls in this year's trade was Matas Buzelis and how he will contribute. If I'm the Bulls I'm looking to add an excellent defender who can guard positions 1-4. What my question is, is why don't they look to play Torrey Craig who's excellent on the defensive end. H may just be the boost that the Bulls need.
