Blow it up and start over.
The Wizards are arguably one of the worst teams in the league and Im not sure when it's going to get any better. On paper this year the guys look great with rookie center and power house Alexandre Sarr, Jordan Poole, Kyle Kuzma, Malcolm Brogdon, Bilal Coulibaly, Jonas Valanciunas, and Corey Kispert. They look great but the issue is I still don think they are going to compete in anyway shape or form. Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole both wanted the challenge of running their own team. Kyle Kuzma had a decent season averaging 22.0 points a game but Jordan Poole......... it was just awful to watch. Averaging 17.4 last season he played better coming off the bench for the warriors. Poole shot selection seemed to amaze everyone last year with the terrible shots and plays that he would make. I think Jordan Poole is a fine player but I don't think noes a mature enough player to take on the challenge of leading a team. It's going to be a long time before we see the wizards truly compete for a playoff spot in the east. They have a lot of work to go and possibly trading Poole and Kuzma away for younger players might be the move for them and continue to rebuild but just from scratch. I believe in a couple of years this Wizards team can compete but for the 2024-2025 NBA season their not going to be a team to watch at least not on my list.
