Coming off an impressive title run and a regular season record of 64-18 the Celtics are keeping the band together and look to repeat their success in the upcoming season. By extending Jason Tatum to a five year contract and Derrick White to a four year contract the Celtics are locked in. With an impressive roster of Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingus, and Payton Pritchard the Celtics are going to be a tuff team to beat and a top team in the NBA this upcoming season. The biggest things for the Celtics is can everyone stay healthy. With Kristaps Porzingus spending extended time out the Celtics had Luke Kornet and Sam Hauser step in and play the role that they were missing with Porzingus. If Porzingus spends time out this season is it possible for Luke Kornet to flourish on the defensive end and add another element to an already amazing defensive team. With consistent seasons from Jrue Holiday and Derrick White I wouldn't be surprised if the champs went back to back. The key element this year for the Celtics is their bench play. Can Payton Pritchard produce as the sixth man and the floor general for the second unit to keep up with the pace of the fire power of the starting 5.
