Can the young core make a run?

Coming off last year's surprisingly good season, there's no doubt that the young magic led by Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are on the rise. Paolo averaged 22 points a game last season and Franz averaged 19.7 if this forward duo can continue to improve and boost those averages they are defiantly going to be an interesting team to watch. People forget that Paolo is only in his 3rd year of the NBA and is already an Allstar caliber player. With the right mentorship from NBA champions like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who recently signed with the magic this summer there's no doubt that in 2-3 years the magic could really be one of the leagues young NBA powerhouses like the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Houston Rockets, its really all about the Magic's player development. One thing to look out for is the Magic's lack of talent at the center position. Goga and Moritz Wagner are both on the same level and that is the backup center role. As a starting center in this league like Goga did last season you can't average 5.0 points, and 4.6 rebounds  per game. You're just never going to win the battle in the paint like that. If Goga can make a decent leap and put up double-double numbers next season the Magic won't bother looking for some extra help at the center position. Definitely an interesting team to watch this season.
